Passion for communication

Built Environment Education has been my passion since university.

The built environment includes architecture, historic preservation,

urban design, public structures…such as bridges and roadways,

even greenspaces…parks and gardens.

In addition to classroom teaching, my work has included illustrating

handbooks on historic preservation; writing and illustrating teaching

manuals on built environment education, and public speaking on

the cause.

Articles on my projects and professional philosophy have appeared

in the AIA’s Florida / Caribbean Architect, fall 2003; Florida Home &

Garden Magazine; the ever-popular Southern Living Magazine; the

Tampa Tribune’s “FLAIR” Magazine; and numerous press interviews.
